We have club meetings every other Sunday evening and alternate between in-person and virtual in order to accommodate our members who live throughout the Hudson Valley.We are currently involved in a myriad of causes, including fighting for fair housing and upholding Good Cause, supporting workers and contributing to unionizing efforts, working in coalitions to end the genocide in Palestine, and much more!If you are interested in putting people and our planet before profits, check out our Party's program and contact us to join!

In response to the November 5th election results, the Hudson Valley Club of the Communist Party of New York affirms:Trump is a fascist. The MAGA movement is a fascist movement organized and funded by the most reactionary sector of the capitalist class. It seeks to strip away any and all legal limits on its political power through violent means. The programme of the corporate-backed white nationalist oligarchy will erode the quality of life for the average American and endanger large sections of the most vulnerable communities in the country.We therefore express our total and unconditional solidarity with those most immediately impacted by the Trump victory: immigrants regardless of legal status, the working class, racially and ethnically oppressed people, and queer and trans folks. The Hudson Valley Club of New York Communist Party reaffirms its commitment to organizing alongside our neighbors and community members who are most susceptible to the fascist policy agenda.Fascism in the United States, however, is not inevitable. Our mobilization in the coming months is crucial. The left is in a dangerous situation, but we are not yet living under an overtly fascist regime, nor will we be on Inauguration Day. The fascist forces that will take power in January would exploit our internal divisions and have us turn our backs on our comrades and on the working class. We must resist this pressure at all costs.We reject any claim that Trump’s victory represents a mandate from the people to impose a fascist agenda. The MAGA victory is not exclusively the product of hate and indifference, but of alienation, confusion, anger, and disillusionment. The neoliberal economic order has steadily waged war against labor, stripping away the power of unions, rolling back legal protections, and exporting jobs abroad. The working class has been abandoned and is rightfully indignant. Trump and the MAGA movement have exploited this indignation by spending billions of dollars on reactionary propaganda, voter intimidation, and voter suppression.Most New Yorkers reject the encroachment of MAGA fascism. We must welcome them into the struggle with open arms. We must build a broad, united coalition dedicated to resistance to American fascism. The Hudson Valley Club of the New York Communist Party calls on all democratic and progressive organizations to join us in mobilizing for working class power, democracy, for a society that upholds the rights of all people. We must envision a future in which the basic needs of all are met unconditionally, a society which promotes human dignity and progress above all, not one that will leave us all behind for the bottom line.

Su victoria no sólo es producto del odio e indiferencia sino también de la enajenación, confusión, indignación, y desilución. El orden económico neoliberal había asediado el labor, quitando el poder de los sindicatos, borrando protecciones legales, y exportiendo el trabajo al extranjero. La clase trabajadora ha sido abandonada y esta, con derecho, enfurecida. Trump y el movimiento MAGA han explotado aquella indignación a través del gastamiento de billones de dolares en propaganda reaccionaria, amenaza de votantes, y supresión de la democracía.La mayoria de los neoyorquinos rechazan la llegada del fascismo MAGA. Debemos recibir ellos a la lucha con brazos abiertos. Debemos formar una coalición ancha y unida dedicada a la resistencia al fascimo americano. El Club del Valle Hudson del Partido Comunista de Nueva York llama a todas las organizaciones progresistas y democraticas para unir con nosotros en movilizar el poder de la clase trabajadora, la democracia, para una sociedad que defende los derechos de todo el pueblo. Debemos envisionar un futuro en lo cual las necesidades básicas de todos sean cumplidas sin condiciones, a sociedad que promueve la dignidad humana y el progreso sobre todo, no uno que nos abandonará para el beneficio de capital.
